Digital news - it's probably the most crucial type of news consumption almost everyone relies on daily. Because of that, I'm happy to be working to grow and engage audiences while experimenting with digital storytelling at Bloomberg as a Social Media and Audience Development Editor. In May 2018, I graduated from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a certificate in International Studies. After spending some time in Rochester, Minnesota working as the Social Media & Digital Manager for KTTC TV and FOX 47, I moved to Columbia, South Carolina in June 2019 to join McClatchy's Southeast Regional Audience Growth & Retention team as an Engagement Editor and was later promoted to Audience Development Editor where I managed my own audience team. I'm proud to have led several initiatives including live events, high-impact distribution plans, live social coverage and reader

callouts for the10 Southeast newsrooms. In addition to being a leader for these newsrooms, I also sat as a co-leader for McClatchy's first-ever People of Color ERG. Having completed my Master's in Digital Audience Strategy in May 2022, I've realized more that my passion is to engage digital audiences for newsrooms by experimenting and establishing innovative strategies for content distribution and high-impact reporting. It's a job that reels in readers from all parts of the audience funnel, which makes this role so exciting.
